What a big difference one can see since we started this year. Our volunteers, most of whom live close to the garden, have kept the garden from scorching in our hot, dry weather, and the mulch will help, too. Thank you to all who have contributed time, water, and effort.
HHNA was founded in 2002 by area residents to promote the wellbeing of their South Toledo neighborhood. Our projects have included sponsoring park cleanups, working with the city to stop housing deterioration, planting and maintaining flower beds in public areas, identifying concerns and bringing them to the attention of city authorities, etc.
We meet every third Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm at Toledo Heights Branch Library, 423 Shasta Dr. All are welcome! Contact us at highland43609@gmail.com or by calling the manager at the Toledo Heights Library: 419-259-5220.
